Dr. Doug Lecy is a second-generation chiropractor, following in his father’s—Dr. Dan Lecy—footsteps. Dr. Doug grew up in Rapid City and is proud to raise his family in the beautiful Black Hills with his stunning wife, Ann, and two beautiful daughters, Willa and Fiona.

What To Expect For Your First Visit
Forms
When you arrive at your appointment, you will need to fill out some paperwork. However, for your convenience, we have included the links to the forms below. Feel free to print these, fill them out, and bring them with you to save time!
Medical History Review & Exam
In order to help you get on the right path for good health, your doctor and staff will ask a series of questions about both current conditions as well as past illnesses. Next, they’ll perform some specialized tests that determine which tissues are affected by certain diseases or injuries.
X-rays
We want to help you get well and stay that way. That’s why we take x-rays of your spine, hips or other parts of the body as needed so our chiropractors can develop a personalizied treatment plan.
Same Day Treatment
Patients can expect a variety of treatments during their first visit. These include gentle spinal adjustments, activator low force adjustments and acupuncture as well as other therapies like physio-therapy or therapeutic exercise which may be used singly or in combination depending on the patient’s needs.

Home Instructions
The doctor may go over your current condition and any recommendations for further care on their second visit. Homecare can include instructions about how to apply ice or heat, avoidance of certain activities and positions as well exercises/stretches at home so you’re able to stay comfortable throughout the day.
Insurance
We have a wide range of affordable health care options for you and your family. We gladly accept most forms of insurance. We welcome patients who do not have medical insurance coverage as well.
